MasterChef Australia is an Australian competitive cooking game show based on the original British version of MasterChef. It is produced by FremantleMedia Australia and screens on Network Ten. C) MasterChef's winning formula is: Its a competition: the viewers are left feeling suspenceful, as they want to know who has bee eliminated each week, and who will win the grand prize at the end of the competion.
D) My show would be called: "The Puzzler", a show where competitors have to work out difficult puzzles and are given clues to help them, the last competitior to finish the puzzle is eliminated.

Master Chef uses real people with interesting stories and back grounds and they help these people make their dreams come true. They set interesting challenges to keep viewers on the end of their seats and they always finish each episode half way through an intense part so the next night when u watch the show u get hooked. They cook interesting dishes that encourage people at home to try new things in the kitchen

If I was to create a television show using master chefs winning formula I would call it master landscape designer! In this show I would get a whole bunch of landscape artists and I would put them in all sorts of messy gardens with very infertile soil. They would be given a set amount of time to transform the jungle into an absolute master peace. At the end of each round the worst landscaper would be eliminated until only the winner is left. I think advertisement on television attract a variety of audiences. The tension of the competition is show widely on television adverts, so lots of people get interested. The media also betrays the fame and fortune of the once simple contestants after the show – this is what people want, because it gives them hope that they can achieve that!

Australian Athlete: because lots of young people love sport and are naturally talented, but don’t have a chance to show it due to location, events or schedule. This will be a good show for hopeful young athletes ready to attempt to prove themselves. It will easily attract an audience due to the fame and fortune of the top people of the competition. It give people a hope!

‘Master-DIY’- do-it-yourself (DIY) building is the Australian way; it has been part of our culture since the early European settlers arrived in the 18th-19th century, and a show that involves such a staple activity for Aussies will certainly attract a large number of viewers from Australia in particular. Contestants would have to use every ounce of creativity to create structural masterpieces. It can also reveal unknown qualities in a person.

ReplyDelete-I think it’s successful because it’s a competition and since it’s a reality show, viewers usually have a favourite competitor on the show and want to see whether they will win or not.

I think the winning formulas are that the participants are everyday people. The thing that makes MasterChef successful is that they make in a way that the viewers are anxious for the competitors. For example, finding out what the mystery box was intense for both viewers and competitors.

Masterchef combines the love of food, with tension, pressure and surprise. Many people love food, so they watch the show, and then the excitement of the show catches them. They also use regular, everyday recipes, so cooking-lovers all around can create the most mouth-watering meals.

I would create a show where the contestants had to test various different things each day. I would be sure to include elements of surprise, tension and pressure, so that the contestants and viewers become excited and hooked into watching and competing for the prize.
