  4. The 1920's was a decade of change. Women experienced a new found freedom as they were allowed to wear short skirts and cut their hair short and they were allowed into the workforce for the first time. Black people were also experiencing change as they were more accepted into white society through their talent for jazz music. The overall mood of the 1920's was one of freedom and releif as the economy was booming and the war was over. By John Sanders :D

  5. Our day and age is very different to the 1929's. Women were just starting to get more daring with their clothing and men still wore suits. Now women are wearing very short clothing and men only wear suits if they have an important job or an important place to go to. The Charleston was a very popular dance and now it is very rare to see anyone still dancing it. The mood in the 1920's was very different to now, a lot of their music was jazz and they always semmed to be smiling and having a good time. Movies were black and white sometimes with music in the background-known as silent films. Now we have colour movies and movies that are 3-d with amazing picture and sound. The 1920's was a very different time to live in. By T Cornall

  7. the mood in the 1920's is so much different than our society today. The 1920s were joyous years.its was fun, fast paced and everyone seems to just have a lift in their spirits. But there were also the times were coloured people got alienated. DVA

  9. The mood in the 1920's were a little crazy, everyone loved jumping around (i really don't know if they actually were trying to dance), when they danced, they started shaking their hips more, they also loved to listen to Jazz Music. The blacks were beginning to be accepted because of their talent for playing musical instruments. The women started wearing shorter clothing, the men started wearing suits. They were a lot more cheerful in the 1920's. Joel...

  12. The mood in the 1920's was very jazzy and people were showing happy expresions on there faces. Most of the muscis also had a fast beat to it and fascinating rhythms.
According to encyclopeda, the 1920's was a time were people could express their feelings and emotions to the world. As time elapsed, people had free choices. People in the 19th century didn't have free choices. They woluld have to follow the leaders choices and live like robots.
observing the music clips can really tell you about the mood in the 1920's.
    lol!!

  14. The mood in the 1920's was cheerful and light-hearted; they were mostly in a funny, happy go lucky mood and they did not seem to mind what others thought of them. they we also in a very jazzy mood, dancing and jocking around where ever they were. As you can see the mood portrayed in the 1920's is much diffirent to the mood today. Since the years have passed people have become more self-conscious about the way they behave in public. Most people are so focused on the way the world sees them and they don't express their real personalities and the way they truly feel because they are so afriad of what people might think and say about them.

  15. The Mood in the 1920's was fun and joyful. Including the women who were now not restricted to their old fashion of long dress, but were free to dance, jump and sing with the jazz mood. society became less worried about their self-conscious and more worried about expressing them selfs.
